Subba Dukkipati, one of the founder Principals, began investing in Indian real estate in 2002 and originated the pre-fund investments of the Pragnya Group. Prior to founding Pragnya Group, Subba pursued an international finance and banking career which spanned over 20 years and several continents.
His last investment-banking role at Citigroup was as head of the Global Markets business of the bank in Japan. He also held the position of Country Treasurer and was a member of the Managing Committee. Subba also worked with Grindlays Bank and Commonwealth Bank of Australia in various capacities.
Subba graduated from Loyola College in Chennai in 1979 and completed his Masters in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi in 1981.
Gopal Menon is one of the founder principals of the Pragnya Group, prior to which Gopal spent over 20 years in banking and finance in India, USA and the United Kingdom.
His last investment banking role in 1999 was at Deutsche Bank, London as Global Head of High Yield. Gopal spent a major part of his investment and commercial banking career prior to this with Bankers Trust in New York and London (1982 - 1998) and with Citibank, India (1976 – 1981).
Gopal holds a post graduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India ("PGP") and a B.A. (Honors) in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
